Our Key Initiatives

Donation Drive For Beach Road Residents (2023)

On August 26, 2023, a heartwarming charity event took place at Beach Road,Singapore, leaving an uplifting impact on the community it served. The charity drive was made possible through a collaborative effort between Shan Chay Medical Institute and dedicated volunteers from Aixin Troopers, aiming to bring joy and essential supplies to those in need. KLHealth generously provided daily necessities such as coffee, cream crackers, shampoo, dishwashing liquid and more that filled the trolleys donated by Shan Chay Medical Institute which were used in the distribution.

Supporting COVID-19 Frontline Workers (2020)

In response to the pandemic, KLHealth, led by Chairwoman Kim Lim, has provided weekly donations of food and essential supplies to over 10,000 healthcare staff across Singapore’s public hospitals. “I just want to do what I can to cheer the healthcare workers—from the frontliners to the cleaners and security guards—on,” says Kim Lim. “I want them to know that everyone is behind them in this fight and that they are appreciated and loved.”

Living By Giving: Supporting Underprivileged Communities and Animal Welfare Groups

Driven by compassion, Kim Lim and KLHealth’s volunteer teams have supported underprivileged Singaporean communities by providing food, home essentials, and improving living conditions through local programmes like Project HomeWorks. A passionate animal lover, Kim also advocates for the welfare of shelter animals by partnering with groups such as Pet Lovers Foundation to create safe, loving environments for animals in need.

Building Homes for the Needy in Mongolia (2014–Present)

Extending its reach beyond Singapore, KLHealth has built homes (‘gers’) for underprivileged families in Mongolia. Kim Lim is dedicated to continuing these housing efforts internationally, focusing on providing safe, dignified living spaces for children and families around the world. “I want my son to grow up and understand the value of paying it forward and caring for those in need,” she shares, embodying a legacy of generosity passed down through her family.
